In the early morning, the police checked on the Fanny Blankers-Koenlaan in Hoofddorp. Cyclists without lights received a fine of 70 euros. Spare bulbs were also distributed. A total of 27 fines were issued.
Speeding
On the Johan Enschedelaan, where the maximum speed limit is 50 kilometers per hour, 8 fines were issued during a speed check. The highest recorded speed was 81 kilometers per hour.
Use of Mobile Phone
Other violations were also noted:
- nine fines for using a mobile phone while driving,
- one for ignoring the driving direction,
- four for speeding,
- and one for an electric bicycle with excessive power.
