The suspect fled immediately after the shot. The police immediately issued a Burgernet alert, sharing the description of the suspect: a man approximately 180 cm tall with a dark complexion, riding a black fatbike and wearing dark sporty clothing, possibly with a gray mask.
Arrests
After intensive detective work, we can report that two suspects have been arrested in recent weeks. The suspects, two men aged 23 and 25 living in Almere, are currently still in custody. Their exact role in the incident is still under investigation.
Investigation
The ongoing investigation has revealed that at least one other suspect is involved in the shooting incident. This concerns a young man with a dark complexion who wore black clothing on the day of the incident and may have assisted in the incident. The detectives urge this suspect to report to the police immediately.
In addition, the detectives appeal to witnesses and ask everyone who has not yet spoken to the police and who has more information about the suspect or the incident to come forward. Video footage that may be relevant to the investigation is also warmly welcomed.
