Around 8:00 PM, the control room received multiple reports about someone behaving suspiciously at Sloterdijk station. Bystanders saw the suspect approach a person who did not appreciate it. When bystanders tried to assist that person, the suspect pulled out a firearm. The suspect threatened with the firearm, leading to a brief chase between a bystander and the suspect.

At the same time, officers who arrived on the scene saw a suspect matching the description running away. The officers managed to stop the suspect and subsequently arrested the man. Shortly after, the firearm was found and seized by the police. No one was injured.

The police are still looking for one particular witness. He immediately came to help when the suspect approached a person who did not appreciate it. We would like to get in touch with this witness and ask him to come forward.
