Robbery with Violence

At the scene, the police found three victims. These three minors from Delft were lured to Van der Kooijweg in Rijswijk under false pretenses. Here, they were assaulted by a large group of people, threatened with weapons, and robbed of clothing and belongings. Colleagues immediately provided first aid to the three victims. The police conducted a search in the area, which unfortunately did not lead to the immediate arrest of one or more individuals. It was known that several individuals fled the scene on a fat bike or on foot. A few days after the incident, one suspect was arrested, a minor boy from Rijswijk.

Arrest

After further investigation, today, September 1, 2025, eight more individuals were arrested by the detectives for the robbery with violence in Rijswijk. This includes three minor boys from The Hague and five minor boys from Rijswijk. Some of them are also suspected of attempted serious assault and one of possession of a weapon. The Public Prosecution Service will later decide whether suspects will be brought before the court.
