Around 6:00 PM, the police received a report of an assault near Nijmeegseweg in Venlo. When the police arrived, a person suspected of involvement fled on foot towards Nijmeegseweg. He crossed the street and was hit by a car. The police are investigating what exactly happened. No arrests have been made yet.

Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Collision

After the suspect of an assault fled and crossed Nijmeegseweg, he was hit by a passing car on Saturday evening. The man was seriously injured. A trauma team arrived by helicopter to assist the ambulance medical team. The injured man was transported by ambulance to Radboud Hospital in Nijmegen.
