An explosion at a car on Prinses Marijkestraat in Zwijndrecht caused extensive damage during the night of Friday, November 7 to Saturday, November 8. No one was injured in the explosion. The police are investigating and seeking witnesses who saw, heard, or have any footage.

Around 12:30 AM, an explosive went off near a car on Prinses Marijkestraat. This explosion, possibly caused by heavy fireworks, caused extensive damage to the vehicle. The car was completely burned out. The police immediately launched an investigation but found no suspects at the scene. However, a person on a bicycle was seen near the car around the time of the explosion. This person may have cycled away towards Burgemeester Jansenlaan.
