‘Right Under Your Nose’
Drug trafficking causes undermining in the Netherlands. It involves serious, organized crime with billions of euros at stake. The illegal practices pose a danger to the neighborhoods where they occur. This is not a distant issue. By reporting suspicious situations, crime can be prevented or addressed. This keeps your neighborhood safe. “Reporting helps,” says the investigation team. “If you have information but find it intimidating to share it directly with the police via 0900-8844, you can also do so anonymously through Meld Misdaad Anoniem (MMA) at 0800-7000. The MMA staff are not police officers or detectives, but they take your information anonymously and pass it on to the police anonymously.”
