The theft occurred around 1:45 PM on Broekhovenseweg. The boy was cycling on the bike path when suddenly an unknown woman stopped in front of him. He had to brake because he could not pass. The woman approached him and gave him a hard push. The boy lost his balance and fell to the ground. Then the woman took his fatbike and cycled away. The victim was left crying. A passerby immediately helped him. The police were quickly alerted and searched the area for the suspect. A camera surveillance employee saw on footage that the woman cycled towards Tuinstraat. There, officers found the bike and the woman. The 24-year-old suspect was arrested and is in custody for further investigation.
