The victim was called around 5:00 PM on Monday by someone pretending to be a police officer. Shortly after, a woman appeared at the victims door at her home on Nassaustraat in Terneuzen. She felt overwhelmed and let the woman inside. The suspect asked for her jewelry and before she realized it, the suspect had taken her jewelry and fled. Emergency number 112 was called immediately afterwards.
The police are investigating the incident. A citizen alert was also issued so neighbors could watch out for the suspects. There are two women involved. One woman is about 35 years old, has a light complexion, long blonde hair, and an average build. She wore a black fleece jacket.
