The robbery took place on Wednesday, March 19, around 5:20 PM. One of the suspects ran into the store, smashed the display cases with a blunt weapon, and took jewelry. The suspect then fled by getting on the bike of the second suspect who was waiting outside. Based on information from bystanders, officers were able to arrest the suspects shortly after in the vicinity of the store. The stolen items were also found with them.

Previous Arrests

Earlier, two minors from Hoorn and Lelystad were arrested. The suspect from Hoorn is still in custody. The other suspect from Lelystad has been released but remains a suspect in the investigation.
