Around 9:30 PM, the man reported himself to the police by phone. The officers then found him injured at Neckerspoel in Eindhoven. He had been stabbed and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Investigation
It is still unclear exactly where the stabbing incident took place. On Thursday evening, we inspected the area around Neckerspoel and conducted an extensive neighborhood investigation, but this has not yet provided clarity. We have now started an investigation. Evidence is being secured, we are checking for usable camera footage, and we are speaking with possible witnesses.
