The police are fully engaged in the investigation. Because there have been previous fires in the Rembrandt Gallery, detectives are also investigating whether there are connections between this and earlier fires.

Officers are currently conducting neighborhood inquiries, asking residents if they have seen or heard anything that could help solve this case. They are also looking into whether there are any camera images that the police can use.
