7,500 euros for golden tip
By releasing the name and photo of the fugitive suspect, the Public Prosecution Service offers a reward of 7,500 euros for the tip that leads to the arrest of Hugo Ruimwijk. A delegation of the Dutch investigation team is present in Suriname to coordinate the search for the fugitive suspect together with local authorities.

Possible flight to Guyana or French Guiana
The police have strong indications that Ruimwijk is in Suriname. The investigation team also considers the possibility that the 47-year-old suspect has fled from Suriname to the neighboring country Guyana or French Guiana. In those countries, authorities will also be asked to look out for the fugitive suspect.
