Card Fraud and Assault in The Hague Tonight on Team West

Tonight on Team West, we share footage of an assault in The Hague at Slachthuisplein. We also highlight a card fraud case in Leidschendam.

Assault - Slachthuisplein - The Hague

On Sunday evening, August 10, around 11:35 PM, two men are suddenly harassed by a group of youths at Slachthuisplein, near the Prins Willem Alexander School. Objects are thrown at the men and insults are shouted, but it does not stop there. When one of the victims confronts the group, he is knocked to the ground by one person and while lying on the ground receives a punch to the face from a second suspect. The victims partner is also attacked by one of the suspects. Both victims are injured. Team West shows footage of the group of youths.

Card Fraud - Damstraat – Leidschendam

A woman from Vroomshoop became a victim of fraud in mid-July after clicking on a digital link and entering her details following a sale on Marktplaats. Instead of her sold dresser being collected, five withdrawals of around 250 euros each were made from her account. Three of these withdrawals took place in Leidschendam. Team West footage shows the person making these withdrawals at these locations.
