17-year-old boy arrested for robbery at Schermerhoek

On Thursday, January 9, a robbery with violence took place at Schermerhoek. The police launched an investigation into this case where a 19-year-old boy was threatened with a knife and forced to give up his belongings. He was kicked and beaten by multiple men and required treatment in the hospital. The case was also featured on Bureau Rijnmond.
On March 13, the same suspect robbed someone and was caught in the act. This subsequently led to information where officers could also identify the boy as a suspect for the threat made on January 9 at Schermerhoek. The 17-year-old boy from Capelle aan den IJssel is in custody.
