Police Seizes 75,000 Rolled Joints and 192,000 Euros

The police discovered 125 kilos of hashish and hemp, 75,000 rolled joints, and 192,000 euros in cash at two storage locations during a drug investigation. This occurred on Monday, March 24, 2025. The police tracked down the drugs and money after a tip via Meld Misdaad Anoniem.

According to the anonymous tipster, there might be a cannabis cultivation facility in a business premises on Nieuw-Zeelandweg in the Western Port Area. Officers entered the premises around 9:00 AM and found approximately 90 kilos of soft drugs and about 10,000 joints. Four individuals present in the premises, three men and one woman, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in soft drug trafficking.

Further investigation then led to another business premises in Amsterdam North. There, officers discovered another 35 kilos of soft drugs, 65,000 joints, and over 192,000 euros. The investigation is still ongoing, and new arrests and seizures are not ruled out. The suspects have been released after questioning but remain suspects in the case.
