The district detective team has recently conducted extensive investigations following reports about possible synthetic drug production at the location in Voorhout. Based on the findings, it was decided to carry out raids at three locations on Tuesday, December 9. During these, a drug lab under construction was found at a house in Voorhout. The National Facility for Dismantling (LFO) arrived to safely dismantle and investigate the discovered items.
In addition to the house in Voorhout, raids were also conducted at other houses in Voorhout and Leiden. Items related to drug labs were found. In total, five suspects were arrested: a 38-year-old man from Voorhout, a 34-year-old man from Zwanenburg, a 34-year-old man from Leiden, a 57-year-old man from Voorhout, and a 35-year-old man from Leiden. All suspects have been detained for questioning.
