After a 30-year-old man was ejected from a café around 1:20 AM at the Grote Markt, he harassed passersby. Officers approached him and told him to leave the city center. He did not comply and was arrested for disturbing the public order.

Shortly after, a report came in that a large group of people was fighting on Steenbergsestraat near Het Beursplein. The cause was that someone had been ejected from a café and behaved disruptively on the street. This led to a fight among bystanders. Officers separated the group and arrested a 34-year-old man from Bergen op Zoom for disturbing the public order. An 18-year-old man from the group insulted an officer and was arrested for insult. Later, a man tried to break up another fight but was hit and kicked in the head. A 19-year-old man from Bergen op Zoom was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
