The 19-year-old man from Amsterdam recognized himself in footage from Bureau Rijnmond.
Because there was suspicion that the man was a minor at the time of the crime, the footage showing him using the stolen cards was blurred.
Nevertheless, he recognized himself and came forward. By doing so, he prevented his images from being broadcast clearly on Bureau Rijnmond.

19-year-old man from Amsterdam identified for fraud in Hellevoetsluis

On September 16, 2025, a couple from Hellevoetsluis fell victim to a scam where their debit cards were stolen. These cards were used multiple times that day in Hellevoetsluis. Nearly 5000 euros were withdrawn in total. The man who used the cards has been identified and will be questioned soon.
