Around 18:05, the emergency services were called about an accident with serious injuries. Officers arrived on the scene and found two injured individuals. They were on the motorcycle involved in the accident. Immediate first aid was started. The passenger was so seriously injured that resuscitation was initiated. Arriving ambulance personnel took over care. Unfortunately, all medical assistance for the passenger was in vain. He died on the spot from his injuries. The motorcycle driver - a 24-year-old man from Amsterdam - was transported to the hospital and detained there. After treatment in the hospital, he was transferred to the detention center. The driver of the car - a 48-year-old man from Amsterdam - was also arrested.

The Traffic Investigation Team (OTV) and Traffic Accident Analysis (VOA) are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
