At that moment, an unknown man to the family jumped into the drivers seat and tried to drive away with the car. The woman in the passenger seat quickly pressed the stop button of the car to prevent the thief from driving away. She started screaming loudly. This attracted the attention of bystanders. They came to the car to help. Her husband then firmly grabbed the car thief and bystanders called the police.
Police officers arrived immediately and arrested the suspect. Witnesses provided statements to the police officers, and the driver of the car filed a complaint against the arrested suspect. The man was transferred to the police detention center. He is still in custody there. By order of the assisting public prosecutor, he has been detained because the investigation is not yet complete.
