At around 4:45 PM, the police received a report of a fight occurring outside a hospitality venue at Dr Lelykade. Multiple police units were dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, it became clear that a group had been ambushed by a group of masked men and that punches were exchanged. The situation had calmed down, and no one wanted to file a report.

While handling the incident, another fight broke out a short distance away. When officers attempted to separate the group, two men turned against them and were arrested. During the incident, two officers were injured. The arrested suspects, aged 55 and 21 from The Hague, were released after questioning.
