The arrested suspects are a 17-year-old boy from Rotterdam and a 16-year-old boy from The Hague. They were arrested on Thursday, May 8, following the investigation. The 17-year-old is suspected of vandalizing a police car and van, while the 16-year-old is suspected of open violence against the police.

Hundreds of youths caused significant disturbances on the Boulevard of Scheveningen on Thursday evening, May 1. They ultimately directed their aggression at the police, throwing stones and glass at the Mobile Unit (ME). The ME subsequently carried out several charges.
