Around 9:15 PM, officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident on the highway. While securing the scene, another driver drove towards the service vehicle. One of the officers managed to jump aside just in time. The drivers car collided with the service vehicle. Due to the impact, the police car was totaled. No one was injured. The driver from Dinterloord was arrested and is being questioned today. The police are continuing their investigation.
