The street robbery took place near a take-away restaurant on Amsterdamse Veerkade in The Hague. The victim had a problem with his e-bike and a person on the street helped him with his bike. At the moment he was being helped, a suspicious man suddenly stood behind the victim. The victim tried to hold on to the bike. At that moment, a scooter passed from the opposite direction. The victim collided with it, forcing him to let go of the bike. As a result, the victim fell and the suspect then fled with the victims e-bike in the direction of Wagenstraat.
