Following received information, the police initiated an investigation. This investigation ultimately led to a search of a residence on Burgemeester Hoefnagelstraat in Sas van Gent. Officers found a (replica) firearm, brass knuckles, and a taser. The weapons were confiscated. The resident of the house was arrested and is being held for questioning.
Possession of these weapons is prohibited in the Netherlands according to the Weapons and Ammunition Act.
