On Sunday, a person lost their life in the rural area along Aan Het Broek in Sittard. Investigations have revealed that this is not a criminal act but a tragic accident. The victim is a 12-year-old young man from the municipality of Sittard-Geleen. Out of respect for the relatives, we will not make any further statements about this accident.
