When police received a report around 3:30 AM that a man was seen with a firearm, they immediately began searching for him. In the vicinity of Oranjeboomstraat, they saw someone matching the description. As soon as this man saw the officers, he took off running. A warning shot was fired, and the man was soon apprehended in the same street. He is a 24-year-old man from Dordrecht. Officers found a firearm that was presumably discarded by the suspect. This has been seized for further investigation.
