A woman was groped by two men on a fat bike while walking her dog on Tuesday afternoon, April 14. This happened around 2:00 PM. The duo was cycling towards Alphen when they groped the woman. The woman (54) from the municipality of Goirle officially filed a report. After the police posted a brief description of the incident on social media, officers received several similar reports in the vicinity of Alphen and Baarle Nassau. The police could not let this continue, so many officers searched for the perpetrators. Among other things, they kept watch for hours at the location.
Officer Off-Duty
On Thursday afternoon, an off-duty officer was cycling in the same area and suddenly saw two men on a fat bike who matched the description. He alerted his colleagues, after which the duo was arrested. They are two men, aged 22 and 51, residing in Baarle-Nassau. The pair has been taken to a police detention center for further investigation and questioning.
