70 Nitrous Oxide Canisters Seized in Heiloo and Heemskerk, 33-Year-Old Man Arrested

After an anonymous tip-off, the police searched a residence in Heiloo and a container in Heemskerk. A total of 70 nitrous oxide canisters of 2 kilograms each were seized at these locations. About 250 balloons can be filled from one 2-kilogram nitrous oxide canister. On Tuesday, February 25, a 33-year-old man from Heiloo was arrested on suspicion of possession of soft drugs. The man is not in custody; he must appear before the judge in May. The municipality of Heiloo is investigating further steps.

Nitrous Oxide is Prohibited
