At around 7:30 PM, police received reports of a fight at the beach along Zuiderplasweg. Shortly after, it was reported that there had also been a stabbing. At the scene, one suspect was apprehended based on the indications of bystanders. This is a 36-year-old man from s-Hertogenbosch. The victim, a 52-year-old man from s-Hertogenbosch, sustained minor injuries. Ambulance personnel treated him on site. Hospital admission was not necessary.

Second suspect

Shortly thereafter, police also arrested a second suspect due to his possible involvement in the incident. This is a 42-year-old man from s-Hertogenbosch.

Police spoke with multiple witnesses that same evening and will continue the investigation today. The exact cause of the quarrel and why there was a stabbing still needs to be determined. Today, both the victim and the suspects will be extensively questioned.
