In the vicinity of the incident, the police quickly arrested a 16-year-old boy from Ridderkerk on the stolen fatbike. The second suspect was arrested two days later, on December 12. He is also a 16-year-old boy from Ridderkerk. The suspects have since been presented to the examining magistrate and will have to answer to the court later.
Imitation Firearms
From a distance, it is difficult to tell whether a firearm is real or fake. Because it is so hard to assess whether such a weapon is real or fake, it is not allowed to carry it on the street. Others may perceive a fake weapon as a threat.
