After investigation, the police identified three locations where illegal fireworks might be present. At one location, in the Noordgeest neighborhood, a significant amount of fireworks was found. The residence contained over 20 shells and more than 100 nitrate-based fireworks. The fireworks were, of course, confiscated.
No one has been arrested yet, but a 20-year-old suspect from Bergen op Zoom is expected to report to the police station later for questioning and further investigation.
