Officers from the National Expertise and Operations Unit saw a car driving away from a house in Zwijndrecht. The officers decided to check the car, finding 6 kilograms of amphetamine. The 35-year-old driver from Nijmegen was immediately arrested.
The officers then drove to the house from which the arrested man had left. On site, the female resident exited the house with a box in her hand, which she placed near a waste container. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the box contained a loaded firearm. The woman was likely warned after the man from Nijmegen was arrested.
In another box next to the waste container, there was a sink made from almost 4 kilograms of MDMA. The 33-year-old woman was immediately arrested and detained for questioning.
