Around midnight, a report of a resuscitation came in from a rural area near Maasbree. A seriously injured man was found who died on the spot from his injuries.

Investigators from forensic support conducted a crime scene investigation today at the location where the man was found. The investigation into the circumstances leading up to the discovery of the victim is also being examined. The families of those involved have not yet been informed. The suspects, a 22-year-old and a 27-year-old man from Maasbree, are in custody. This means that the police cannot provide any further information at this time.
