Due to the report, several buildings were evacuated and the area was cordoned off. After investigation, it was found that no explosive was present in the building.
Such reports are always taken very seriously, which is why various services were also dispatched to the scene. This was the case this afternoon.
Arrest
We were able to trace the location of the report and the reporter. A minor has been arrested on suspicion of making a false report. This person has been taken to the police station and is being interrogated.
False Report
If you make a false report (this means: saying that something is happening that is not true), or misuse 112, you are committing a crime. Making a false report or abusing 112 is life-threatening. There will always be people who really need help, because they have a cardiac arrest, their house is on fire, or they are being robbed. You dont want to think that these people cant reach 112 because someone else is pulling a prank or making a false report.

Arrest After False Bomb Threat

This afternoon around 1:45 PM, the police received a report of a bomb being present in a building on Bongerd. Multiple patrols, including an explosives expert, were dispatched. Upon investigation, it turned out to be a false report.
