Witnesses sought after violent robbery Lange Houtstraat

On the night of Saturday, December 6 to Sunday, December 7, a man was the victim of a violent robbery on Lange Houtstraat. The police are investigating the circumstances and suspects and are eager to contact witnesses.

At around 5:00 AM, the victim was walking with another man from the Grote Markt towards Lange Houtstraat. The two wanted to get into a taxi when the suspects shouted at them to empty their pockets.

One of the men was then attacked. He was kicked in the head, briefly lost consciousness, and was robbed of his personal belongings. He was checked on site by ambulance personnel.

Violent robbery

After the violent robbery, the suspects fled. They ran via Casuariestraat, Nieuwe Uitleg, Jan Evertstraat, Koninginnegracht, Zuid-Hollandlaan, and Boslaan towards the Haagse Bos.
