An explosion in the backyard destroyed a window at the back of the house around 06:15. The shocked resident was in the kitchen at the time of the explosion and felt the glass come towards him. He was not injured. Illegally used fireworks are suspected, as remnants were found in the garden.
An investigation was immediately launched. Surveillance footage from the resident showed a suspect, which quickly led to the arrest of the 43-year-old man from Oss. He is in custody for further investigation.
