Two Minors Arrested After False Bomb Threat

In the investigation of the false bomb threat at a store on Zurich Street in Sittard, two minors were arrested. The police investigation led to the juvenile suspects. A minor was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and the second on Thursday afternoon. The second suspect is currently being questioned by officers.
On the morning of June 24, the bomb threat was reported at the store. The police immediately started an investigation. For safety reasons, the store was evacuated during the investigation, and the area was cordoned off. An explosives expert conducted a two-hour investigation in the store. It was determined that no bomb was present, and the store could reopen.
