At around 8:15 PM, the police received a report of a threat in the vicinity of Bovenlandenstraat or Buitenlandenstraat in Beerta. A firearm may have been seen. Multiple officers responded to the scene. The suspect, a minor male from Groningen, was shortly thereafter found in the area.

Arrest

When the police found the man, he fled. Shortly thereafter, he was arrested by the police near the Peace Square in Beerta. During his arrest, the police fired a warning shot. No one was injured. The suspect has been taken to the police station. He is in custody and will be interrogated about the incident and his involvement. No firearm was found.
