What should have been a beautiful, loving day ended in a horror story. It happened on Sunday, August 27, 2023. Two weddings were being celebrated simultaneously at the Diamond Plaza event center on Dynamostraat when around 10:00 PM some unrest broke out at the entrance. One of the guests got into a fight with other guests and was ejected by security. He disagreed and lingered with a group at the door, causing trouble.
Skull Base Fracture
The group of men threw glass bottles and eventually also pieces of paving stones, leading to a large brawl. A young woman was hit so hard on the head with a stone that she was urgently taken to the hospital. She had a skull base fracture and doctors had to remove pieces of tile from her skull. She was even in life-threatening condition for some time. The woman still suffers from what was done to her. It has now become clear that she has sustained permanent brain damage.
Arrests Thanks to Tips
With the help of viewers from Opsporing Verzocht, six suspects have now been identified and arrested. This morning, the sixth suspect, a 19-year-old man from Rotterdam, was arrested at his home. The victim is incredibly grateful for these tips that led to the arrests of the suspects. However, there are still three suspects whose identities are unknown. The police are still searching for them.

Previous Arrests
The previously arrested suspects include a 19-year-old man from Lelystad, a 24-year-old man from Delft, a 33-year-old man from Den Helder, a 25-year-old man from The Hague, and a 19-year-old man from Ridderkerk. The 25-year-old man from The Hague is still in custody, while the other suspects have been released. They are awaiting a summons from the court to answer for their actions.

Sixth Arrest for Serious Assault Dynamostraat

Thanks to tips from viewers of Opsporing Verzocht, a sixth suspect was arrested on Thursday, April 9, for a serious assault that took place in August 2023 at an Eritrean wedding in Dynamostraat, Rotterdam. It has now become clear that the victim, who was hit on the head with stones, has permanent brain damage from the assault. The police will not rest until all suspects are arrested and are still searching for the identities of three suspects.
