On Wednesday evening around 7:00 PM, officers saw the man known as the suspect of the home robbery riding a scooter. The scooter rider tried to escape from the police. At the roundabout on Sint Annalaan, the scooter rider touched the police car and fell. In the fall, he collided with the car of a cameraman who was then able to record the arrest live.
The investigation into the robbery continues. Multiple arrests are not excluded. The suspect is in custody with restrictions, and for that reason, no further information about the investigation can be provided at this time.
