On Sunday evening, two officers are at the exit of an event at Sportparklaan. Around 11:00 PM, a scuffle breaks out, during which the officers assist security staff in making an arrest. While they try to control the suspect, a man approaches and delivers a hard kick to one of the officers faces. Despite his injuries, the officer manages to apprehend his suspected assailant. Violence Against Police
The police find aggression and violence against their staff unacceptable. Police officers have a responsible role in society and must be able to perform their duties without being hindered. With mutual respect. Aggression or violence, in any form, against staff is not tolerated. This applies to everyone who works for the police: officers, detectives, dispatch staff, front desk staff, and support department staff.
