At 9:30 PM, several neighbors called the emergency number because shots were fired in Rousseaustraat. Multiple shots were heard and seen. Several shell casings can be found on the street. Two individuals were injured; a 50-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy. They were on the balcony of a house at the time of the shooting when shots were fired from the street towards the balcony. The victims were injured but responsive and transported to the hospital.

The suspects had fled. With the help of witness statements and a description, two suspects were arrested in the vicinity. The motive for the shooting incident is still unknown. The police are conducting an investigation. A search is being carried out at the house and on the street with a sniffer dog, and forensic investigation is being conducted. Witnesses are being interviewed and available CCTV footage is being sought.
