On the night of Saturday, April 12 to Sunday, April 13, the police received a report around 00:15 of a conflict in a residence on Koekoekstraat in Assen. It was also reported that there was a stabbing. The police found one injured person in Buizerdstraat, near Koekoekstraat. The victim, a 33-year-old man from Ter Apel, was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Arrest

At the scene, the police also encountered a 31-year-old man from Assen. The man has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident. The police are investigating his role and the circumstances of the incident.
