That day around 5:00 PM, the police stopped a person due to a nuisance incident under the Bollendak, where a group of about 20 people were present. One of the involved police officers was insulted and verbally abused by a woman. The officer then arrested a 23-year-old suspect from De Koog on suspicion of insult. A 39-year-old suspect from Rotterdam tried to prevent the arrest and insulted the officer. This suspect was also arrested. He is suspected of insult and obstruction. Both suspects will have to answer for this at a later time.
