The raid was carried out by the flex team, detectives, and officers from the Walcheren basic team following received information. They entered the house by removing the front door from its frame, causing damage to the door. Inside, they found the resident. Upon entry, officers immediately saw a firearm and also found ammunition. The resident was arrested and taken to a police cell complex.
House searched
The house was subsequently searched. During the search, the police found a quantity of hemp, as well as weapons and ammunition, including a hand bow, a crossbow, and various (parts of) firearms. Some may partially be bibi guns, but all firearms found are being examined for authenticity. Therefore, all weapons and ammunition found were seized by the police.
As the officers were about to leave the house, a second resident arrived, a woman. She was also arrested and taken to a police cell complex.
The two individuals, whose ages are not disclosed by the police to protect their privacy, have been detained and remain in custody. The suspects are being questioned by detectives.
