Around 04:05 AM, the police received reports of loud bangs near the house and that the front door was on fire. A car was also ablaze. The residents fled to the roof of their home to seek safety. Firefighters arrived quickly and were able to extinguish the fire and bring the residents down safely. No one was injured.
An explosive device had detonated at the house, and it was also clear that the house had been shot at.
Previous explosion
The police are investigating the incidents. Nearly a year ago, on Monday, January 24, 2025, the house was also targeted by an explosion. Investigators are looking into whether that case – in which no arrests have yet been made – is related to this explosion and shooting.
