The shooting incident took place that Tuesday evening around 8:00 PM, fortunately, no one was injured. The police immediately started an investigation after this incident which then resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old boy from Capelle aan den IJssel. He has been released. The investigation continued, during which witnesses were interviewed and CCTV footage was reviewed. This further investigation led to seven arrests today. Several homes were also searched. The arrested suspects are between 16 and 22 years old and come from Capelle aan den IJssel and Rotterdam. Their exact role in the shooting incident is being investigated. Furthermore, more arrests are not ruled out. During the search of the homes, a firearm was seized among other things.
