The investigation into the deceased young woman (17) in Duivendrecht is in full swing. What exactly happened in the half hour between her departure from Leidseplein and the discovery of her body by the police is currently being investigated by a Large Scale Investigation Team (TGO). The investigation team is still urgently looking for more information, especially about the last minutes of her cycling route. Additionally, the police are calling on three specific road users to come forward.
The victim cycled from Leidseplein to Abcoude, at least via Holterbergweg. A large part of her route is well captured, but clear footage of the last seven minutes of her route is missing. Therefore, the police are calling on people who saw her between the Breitnertoren (near Amstelstation) and Holterbergweg or may have captured her on video to come forward. Furthermore, the detectives are urgently looking for three road users who may provide important information about the suspect, as they drove on Holterbergweg between 04:10 and 04:30. This includes a scooter rider and the occupants of a light-colored delivery van and a Biro.
Dozens of tips
After a previous witness appeal, the investigation team received dozens of tips, the usefulness of which is currently being investigated. The detectives thank the public for their willingness to think along intensively.
